I grew up going to church but didn’t really hear or understand the gospel until the summer after my sophomore year of high school. I accepted Christ as my Savior at Frontier Ranch, a Young Life camp in Colorado. Before that I had always thought I was a pretty good kid because I compared myself to the kids I hung around, but at Frontier Ranch I was really forced to wrestle with the fact that I am a sinner in need of a Savior and that just because I appeared to be “pretty good” on the outside didn’t mean that my heart wasn’t filled with sin. It was there in the mountains of Colorado that I placed my faith in Christ as my Savior and have been striving to pursue and chase after Him since.
God brought me to Christ Chapel first when I was a college student at TCU. I feel in love with the godly community, the amazing worship experience and the solid Bible teaching. It wasn’t long before I was serving in the College Ministry, which would eventually lead to me becoming the Fifth+Sixth Pastor.
My wife, Jordan, and I have been married for almost seven years and in our spare time we love watching movies and spending time with friends. I also enjoy riding my bike, playing soccer and reading Marvel comic books!
