When I felt a call to the ministry, I wasn’t sure if it was a calling or something I just wanted to do. Because I was unsure, I felt a little lost about what I was going to do with my life. Part of the reason I was unsure was because I would hide a lot of my sin and it slowly started to build a wall between me and God. But God put on my heart that He uses broken people to build His Kingdom. I realized that I didn’t have to have it all together on the inside or outside in order to be a part of a church. His grace is the only reason I can write this to you today.
I was a student at TCU and was looking for a place to serve in the church when I came to Christ Chapel. I started leading worship in Middle School Ministry and then close to a year later, started working in High School Ministry as an intern. I stayed in that position for about a year and then only because of God’s timing, during the week of finals my senior year at TCU, Christ Chapel offered me a full-time job working as the worship director for the High School Ministry.
I grew up in a Christian home in Crowley, TX and moved to Aledo and Benbrook throughout my high school years. I love to hunt, fish, play sports and be with my family.
