The first week we moved to Aledo, we decided to try out Christ Chapel West Campus. I honestly wasn’t expecting to like it since at the time they were meeting in a high school cafetorium. However, our family instantly felt at home! We never even tried another church like we were planning. On Sunday mornings, in that high school, you could feel God’s presence and see God moving in His people.
I soon began volunteering on Sunday mornings, teaching first and second grade girls, and soon after also became the Large Group Teacher for Kindergarten through 4th Grade. This ministry, these kids, these volunteers, these stories of God’s love and ultimate plan to always rescue His people became the highlight of my week. I am thrilled to join this ministry team and couldn’t be more excited about the work God is doing and will do in Parker County through this light on a hill.
I live in Aledo with my husband of twelve years, Kevin, and our two kids – Silas, age 5, and Sloan, age 3. We constantly see God’s hand in our lives and are thankful for His unending grace and mercy.
