I was blessed to be raised in a loving home and we attended church every Sunday. I had wonderful Sunday school teachers that loved me and taught me about my sin and my need for a Savior, and I accepted Christ when I was 7 years old. I learned a lot about God’s Word, but did not fully grasp His goodness and grace until college. While attending Texas A&M, the Lord graciously brought people into my life that were actively pursuing Him and I realized that I wanted what they had! God was so good to come after me when I wasn’t even looking for Him. I grew tremendously in my walk with the Lord over the next four years and the religion of my childhood turned into a rich relationship with Jesus as my faith matured.
After graduating college, my husband accepted a job in Fort Worth. Neither of us were from the area so someone recommended that we visit Christ Chapel. We came once and have been here for 10 years now. We started serving together in the Special Buddies program, joined a small group and Christ Chapel quickly became our family. We have served in many capacities over the years and were on the Pioneer Team that headed to Parker County five years ago. I have always enjoyed serving in Children’s Ministry and when the Preschool Director position became available I was honored to join the team! I love getting to creatively share the gospel with every preschooler that comes through our doors.
I’ve been married to my best friend, Scott, for 11 years and we have three children: Hannah (10), Nathan (8) and Henry (5). We all enjoy reading, playing sports, camping and yelling for the Aggies!
