I grew up in sunny Southern California going to church every Sunday with my family. In elementary school I started to play soccer competitively and, with soccer games every weekend, my family’s church attendance fell to the wayside. Throughout high school, I had Christian friends who loved me so well and truthfully lived out the gospel. Through this time, I felt Jesus tugging on my heart to get to know Him. However, I am a big science nerd and I struggled with what the Bible says versus what my science textbook said. I pridefully chose my textbook over the Bible. Later, my one of my best friends passed away at the age 20 from a heart attack. Doctors completed an autopsy and found no scientific evidence of how or why he had a heart attack. In that moment, God revealed His sovereignty and goodness to me. His ways are higher and His plans are perfect!
I came to Fort Worth in 2012 to attend TCU and ended up at Christ Chapel through our College Ministry. I am so excited that I get to work here! I feel like the luckiest girl ever. I love meeting all of our volunteers and hearing their stories of how God has intricately worked in their lives. Also, I love being a part of the Connect Ministry and helping introduce others to Christ and Christ Chapel.
