Being raised in a Christian home, I’m blessed to have always known about the gospel. I accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age, but didn’t fully understand what that meant until I was in high school and started developing my own relationship with Jesus. Through God’s infinite grace, I now strive to seek Him and be transformed by the Holy Spirit every day.
During my graduate school years at TCU, I met Richard Shafer who invited me to Christ Chapel. After the 5 p.m. service one week, I attended a Life Stage 2 event called The Gathering and felt so welcomed and loved by the people there that I kept coming back. I joined the Converge worship team shortly after and a few years later, came on staff as a barista at The Perk. Being at The Perk, I love interacting with the people who drop by and I am excited to continue growing our ministry to people both in and out of the church.
Aside from coffee, I have Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Performance from Baylor University and TCU respectively. When I’m not working at the church, I’m a freelance professional musician who plays bass, guitar, piano and sings. I also hate all forms of insects and my middle name is Justice. (If you don’t believe me, come check my driver’s license.)
