Christ Chapel’s Mission

Role’s Mission
The High School Girls Director is responsible for the spiritual growth and development of the high school girls. Alongside the High School Pastor she will help carry out the goal of targeting and retaining high school girls as well as growing them toward spiritual maturity. She will accomplish this mission through the following roles:

(1) As a MULTIPLIER she will recruit, train and shepherd a team of leaders who are committed to the vision of reaching high school students for Jesus and discipling them in their faith. She will make sure every high school girl has an adult leader who knows them and is helping them take the next step in their faith.

(2) As a CONNECTOR she will reach out and invite new students into our ministry, connecting them with peers and leaders to challenge them in their faith.

(3) As a SHEPHERD of high school girls and their families she will create an environment where students want to belong because they are known, cared for and challenged to take the next step in their faith. She will also partner with parents to equip them to foster faith formation at home.

Role’s Relationship
This role reports directly to the High School Pastor at the Fort Worth Campus.

Requirements
-Must possess a genuine love for students.
-Must be a Christian with Godly character (Titus 2:6-8).
-Must be a maturing believer who is pursuing sanctification and the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
-Must embrace our church’s doctrinal position and constitution without reservation and be an advocate of our philosophy of ministry both in public and in private.

Preferences
-1-2 years of previous student ministry experience
-Bachelor’s degree
-Proven ability to work well with both adults and students

Accounts Payable

PART-TIME POSITION

We’re looking for a new administrative person to join our team. This part-time position involves working 20-25 hours per week with Christ Chapel’s accounts payable. If you’re the kind of person who looks forward to balancing their checking account down to the last penny and gets a satisfying thrill from analyzing numbers and data, we’d love to chat. Thoroughly loving details, as well as experience in Excel creating and running formulas are important. Previous work with accounts payable? Well, that gives you major bonus points!

Brew Crew

PART-TIME POSITION

Do you love the smell of coffee in the morning? How about in the afternoon and evening too? Then join the Brew Crew! We’re looking for individuals to help enhance the Sunday morning experience at Christ Chapel by assisting with all things coffee. The Brew Crew sets up coffee stations around the campus, keeps the coffee coming all morning long and helps with clean-up after the 11 a.m. services. Help us put a smile on sleepy Sunday morning faces and join one of the best crews around.

Role’s Mission

Because helping Parker County fifth and sixth graders take the next step in their walk with Jesus is essential to them becoming fully mature Christ followers, the Fifth+Sixth Pastor will be the Lead Shepherd, Team Builder and Primary Communicator for all aspects for the West Campus Fifth+Sixth Ministry:

1) As the Lead Shepherd of fifth and sixth graders and their families, you will create an environment where students want to belong because they are known, cared for and challenged to take the next step in their faith. You will also partner with parents to equip them to foster faith formation at home.

2) As the Team Builder, you will recruit, train and encourage a team of leaders who are committed to the vision of reaching Parker County fifth and sixth graders for Jesus and discipling them in their faith. You will multiply yourself so that every student has an adult who knows them and is helping them take the next step in their faith.

3) As the Primary Communicator, you will connect the Word of God to the hearts of fifth and sixth graders so they can apply it to their everyday lives. You’ll see to it that all teaching and curriculum in the ministry is biblical, creative and age-appropriate for fifth and sixth graders.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports directly to the West Campus Associate Executive Pastor with the Life Stage 1 Pastor serving as coach.

Requirements

1.          Must be a Christian with an Elder-qualified character (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9)

2.          Must be a maturing believer who is obviously, consistently and increasingly manifesting the fruit of the Spirit in his daily walk with Christ (Galatians 5:22-23)

3.          Must embrace our church’s doctrinal position and constitution without reservation and be an advocate of our philosophy of ministry both in public and in private

4.          Must have served in a student ministry role in a local church or in a student parachurch organization for one to two years

Preferences

1.          Served in a student ministry role in a local church or in a student parachurch organization for three to five years with experience supervising and leading a paid staff to accomplish the work of the ministry

2.          A undergraduate degree from an accredited university or M.A.C.E. or M.Div. from an accredited evangelical seminary

POSITION SUMMARY

A blended position with primary responsibility of performing complex network support functions and server support functions. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for at least two years of specialized experience related to this position as described below:

Must have hands-on experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

Your resume must demonstrate that you meet the following competencies

1. Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service- Works with users to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations.
3. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Requires intermediate knowledge of all facets of networking and server administration. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of professionals and in-house staff from diverse backgrounds. Strong knowledge and experience providing effective customer service.

Under general direction, performs work on servers, local & wide area network infrastructure, telecommunication systems, and software applications, as installed and maintained by the Information Technology Department.

-Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field;
-Demonstrated competence in one or more of the following: Microsoft server operating systems, server virtualization, network infrastructure, telephone systems, software application systems or,
-Equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Ability to interact with staff and vendors in a helpful and positive manner.
-Ability to handle multiple requests/needs simultaneously; ability to remain calm when experiencing critical system issues.
-Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion, especially when handling confidential information.
-Excellent customer service skills.

SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS

-Installs and maintains servers including version updates & patches.
-Installs and maintains network infrastructure.
-Installs and maintains direct-attached and network-attached printers.
-Solves complex, inter-related problems using hardware/software research and analysis tools.
-Maintains network security and resolves network security issues when discovered.
-Performs system backup and restore procedures.
-Performs telephone system administration duties
-Provides cross-training to other Information Technology staff members.
-Maintains equipment and software license records as required.
-Participates in departmental on-call duties.
-Collaborates with software vendors to develop integration and interfaces to existing systems.
-Researches and reviews commercial software packages to determine applicability to needs of the organization. Determines compatibility with existing systems.

Role’s Mission
The Audio Visual Engineer is to be a servant that oversees the setup and repair of audio visual equipment of the CCBC Ministries; a desire to glorify God by being a hands-on servant and fulfilling the five purposes of Christ Chapel.

The Audio Visual Engineer will be responsible for setting up classroom audio visual needs and trouble shooting and repairing equipment as needed. They will have direct contact with repair vendors and equipment manufactures to ensure the church’s audio visual equipment is working properly. The Audio Visual Engineer will also be charged with the care and upkeep of live broadcast video production equipment at multiple campuses and work together with the campuses’ Live Directors and Sound Engineers. On occasion, they will be used as a field video production grip and assist on video shoots. The Audio Visual Engineer should be technically savvy, have a friendly disposition and be willing to get to the bottom of any audio visual issue. The person must take initiative, have a positive professional approach with a can-do attitude, ask questions and use appropriate channels to discuss concerns and be proactive rather than reactive. We are looking for a person who loves the Lord, loves video and enjoys working in a team.

Reporting Relationship
This position reports directly to the Video Production Manager

Reporting Relationship

Requirements

(2) Must be living an “above reproach” lifestyle as outlined in the Christ Chapel Employee Handbook

(3) Must be committed to and supportive of the authority of the Elders, the pastoral staff and the philosophy and direction of the church both in public and in private
