ManPower

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress …” (James 1:27, NIV84). Paul says, “Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need” (1 Timothy 5:3, NIV84). The Bible makes it very clear that God desires for the Church to take care of the needs of widows. Christ Chapel’s men want to put true religion into practice by serving the widows and single moms of our congregation. Our outreach method is simple. We ask four men to form a team and serve for three hours one Saturday each month.

Soul Care Leadership Application

Soul Care Leadership Appplication

Have you considered how God has used significant experiences, people or events to form and develop His people? You have a story. It highlights events God has used to mold and shape your character. In order to serve in a ministry like Soul Care, it is important to understand your own story and to be able to articulate how God is currently working in it.

Please answer the following questions below, your answers do not need to be all encompassing, but focus on sharing the personal parts of your history that relate to the person you are today and the trials you may currently be facing. Take your time filling out the form, we don't recommend completing it in one sitting. We look forward to the opportunity to learn more about how the Lord is working in your life and prayerfully considering how we can work together serving in ministry with one another.
