What's Going on with Soul Care: Spring 2012

	DIVORCE CARE Began Monday, Jan. 16, 2012 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost: $15 If you’re recovering from a divorce, learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. This 13-meeting series featuring Biblical teaching is hosted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Children’s Ministry is available for children up to age 12. 	REDEEMED HEART RECOVERY Mondays 7 p.m. Winsor Rooms 217 and 220 Tuesdays 7 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. - Soul Care Building This is a Christ-centered group for those interested in recovery from addiction, obsession, compulsion, idolatry, and more. Thanks to God's grace, we know that despite our struggles there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Click here to read more about our Recovery Ministry.
	EQUIPPED TO COUNSEL Sundays 5 to 8 p.m. Fellowship Hall East “Equipping the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12 NASB). Counseling belongs in the body of Christ and equipping followers of Jesus Christ to counsel one another in love and truth. This class will show believers how to disciple those that are suffering so they may one day help others. The hope is that this material will encourage believers to live out the Great Commission within the Body of Christ as well as the Church without walls. This is part II of a three part class. 	CHANGE AND YOUR RELATIONSHIPS Began Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Soul Care Conference Room This 12-week study is designed to provide practical help for strengthening relatonships in a broken world. In this study you will learn how to face the messiness of any type of relationship through 12 lessons, activities, homework discussion and "Make it Real" life applications. Get to Know Christ

Take your next step with God by beginning
a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Admit that you're a sinner, separated from a holy and perfect God.
(Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53:6)

Understand that the penalty for your sin is death - eternal separation from God and all that is good.
(Romans 6:23, Hebrews 9:27)

Believe that Jesus Christ took the penalty for your sin by dying in your place and conquered death by raising from the dead.
(Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

Receive the free gift of salvation by trusting in Christ alone as your Savior from sin and death and your provider of true and eternal life.
(Romans 4:4-5, 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9)

One way you can express your trust in Jesus Christ is by telling God Himself:

"Dear God,

I know that I'm a sinner. I know my sin deserves to be punished. I believe Christ died for me and rose from the grave. I trust Jesus Christ alone as my Savior. Thank You for the forgiveness and everlasting life that I now have. It is because of Jesus that I have peace praying these things to you.

- Amen."
