ManPower: serving widows and single momsReligion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress (James 1:27). Paul says, "Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need"(1 Timothy 5:3). The Bible makes it very clear that God desires for the Church to take care of the needs of widows.Christ Chapel's men want to put true religion into practice by serving the widows and single moms in our congregation. Our outreach method is simple. We ask four men to form a team and serve for three hours on one Saturday each month. The teams of men will work on any number of domestic projects, including basic home repairs, odd jobs, yard work, computer help, etc. These men are not required to have any specific skills or abilities in order to serve. For more information, contact the CCBC Serve team. Service Day Schedule:7 to 7:45 a.m. at Christ Chapel (Building H - Room 4) If you have any questions please contact Brandon Stewart at BrandonS@christchapelbc.org or 817-546-2527 Request Help from Manpower
