What's the best thing about working around young children? Children laugh with the purest joy and enjoy the simplest of pleasures. And besides that, they can be absolutely hilarious! It is fun to see them experience true friendships with both their volunteer leaders and the other children in their classes. It is great to see how the children bring out the best in our adults! Most of all, it is great to see them learning the basic truths of the Bible that will help them come to the Lord and soar above the things of the world.
What do you love best about Christ Chapel? I thank God each day that Christ Chapel stands firm on the true word of God and proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the humility and prayerfulness of our church’s leadership. I could seriously list 500 things I like about the church. But, those are probably my top few.
What's your favorite food combo? I love to eat a plate full of Ritz crackers topped with a slices of cheese and red grapes. Simple and wonderful.
What’s a scripture that comes to your mind on a regular basis? "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." (Phillipians 4:13)
Name someone who has influenced you spiritually. Mike Taylor. He was only in my life as an associate pastor for about a year when I was in high school. He organized a "Boldness Club" for the students and actually got across to me that it was our responsibility as believers to share the gospel and let God use us for His purposes.
Tell us about your family. My husband Truitt asked me to marry him when I was 15 and he was 17! We married five years later and celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary this past January. Our son Clarke, daughter-in-love, Jennifer, and our two precious grandkids, Huston and Arden, are part of the Christ Chapel family. Our daughter, Emily, is married to the love of her life, Christopher, and they are parents to our "grandpuppies," Bonnie and Hank.

Tell us about your family. Married almost 29 years to the love of my life, Chick (and we dated for 12 years prior to that!). No two-legged children but three of the four-legged variety (two cats, one dog). Born to Greek parents that were a hoot! My Yia-Yia's name was Theodora Triantafillou. So grateful that my parents didn't name me that.
