Ministries: Orphan Care
HISChild header
HISchild Orphan Care exists to "motivate and unify the Christ Chapel body to live out God’s mandate to care for the orphan." We believe hearts will be transformed as people learn about God’s heart for the fatherless. As hearts and lives change at Christ Chapel we believe the entire body will benefit and deepen in their individual and corporate relationships with God. God has made it clear throughout His word that we are to "defend the cause of the poor and the fatherless!" (Psalm 82:3). By advocating for and defending orphans we will receive the blessing of better understanding God through them. When the church embraces the cause of the orphan and takes action to address the global plight of the fatherless, it is not just the child who benefits. The body of believers gains a fresh perspective on true Christianity and the church will be acting as the hands and feet of Christ and doing the work that has been assigned to it by God.

HISchild works to assist children locally and around the world. Not only do we act as advocates for orphans, but we also minister to adoptive and foster care families coming alongside them to support them and serve them as they rescue orphans into forever homes.

We dream of  "the entire Christ Chapel body engaged in caring for orphans in varying ways so orphans locally, nationally, and around the globe are experiencing the love of Christ and knowing Jesus as Savior."

Is God calling you to advocate for orphans?

Take your next step with God by beginning
a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Admit that you're a sinner, separated from a holy and perfect God.
(Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53:6)

Understand that the penalty for your sin is death - eternal separation from God and all that is good.
(Romans 6:23, Hebrews 9:27)

Believe that Jesus Christ took the penalty for your sin by dying in your place and conquered death by raising from the dead.
(Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

Receive the free gift of salvation by trusting in Christ alone as your Savior from sin and death and your provider of true and eternal life.
(Romans 4:4-5, 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9)

One way you can express your trust in Jesus Christ is by telling God Himself:

"Dear God,

I know that I'm a sinner. I know my sin deserves to be punished. I believe Christ died for me and rose from the grave. I trust Jesus Christ alone as my Savior. Thank You for the forgiveness and everlasting life that I now have. It is because of Jesus that I have peace praying these things to you.

- Amen."
