MEN’S MINISTRY AT CHRIST CHAPEL
Momentum is a community of men studying God’s Word and trying to live the commands of the Bible by serving and leading in the places God has put us. Our mission is simple: to equip men to be agents of change in their everyday lives.
PRESSING ON. REACHING FORWARD.
Band of Brothers
A Weekly Study of God’s Word
We put a high priority on teaching God’s Word in the context of community because we believe that the Bible, in combination with genuine community, provides the wisdom and encouragement we need to live as godly men in the midst of an ungodly world. Meeting weekly at both campuses, Band of Brothers is our chance to do just that.
How are we supposed to see God as invincible and all-powerful, when He’s invisible and all-but-imperceptible? How do we know He’s working in our lives when we aren’t even sure He knows what’s going on? The story of Esther is the story of the God who can’t be seen, but who sees all, knows all, and has it all under His sovereign control. The key is learning to see God in mundane and everyday affairs of life. It is about discovering how to discern His presence in the sorrows of life, not just the successes. This nine-week study is going to be a paradigm-shifting look into God’s providence over His creation and His creatures. There is no such thing as good luck, karma, fate or coincidence. God is in control. He has a plan. And He is always working, behind the scenes and beyond our capacity to comprehend or understand, to accomplish His will. Join us at BAND of BROTHERS, our midweek Bible study for men as we start back up this January with “Immortal Invisible: The Imperceptible Providence of God.”

BUT ONE THING I DO: FORGETTING WHAT LIES BEHIND AND STRAINING FORWARD TO WHAT LIES AHEAD, I PRESS ON TOWARD THE GOAL FOR THE PRIZE OF THE UPWARD CALL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.
Are you ready to grow deeper? The Challenge is simple: We’ll recommend a book while you pick a friend and commit to read and discuss the book for eight weeks. We hope the practice of reading and discussing the book will drive your relationship with God deeper. Spiritual growth is a lifelong commitment and team sport – let’s take the challenge and grow together.
Men on Mission
Since 2014, Momentum has traveled every summer to the village of Abreu do Una, Brazil. The goal of each trip is to disciple men in the village, build relationships and share the gospel with locals. If you’d like to know more about joining us on our next trip, contact Ken at KenM@christchapelbc.org.
Offered several times throughout the year, Focal Point is designed to address current events and timely topics through the lens of Scripture.
